How much does an Ignition Interlock Device or IID cost?

Ignition interlock devices typically aren’t purchased, but are rented. We charge a monthly rental for our device. Our pricing page breaks it down very thoroughly. Roughly, though, you should expect to pay $115.00 to $150.00 per month for an ignition interlock device.

At Integrity Interlock, we bundle in so much with our rental pricing, it usually makes the cheapest option. In order to get the true cost for another provider, you would need to determine their cost for installation and calibrations. Since installations and calibrations are usually charged as additional services (calibrations are recurring every 60 days in Wisconsin). However, with us, installations are 95% of the time free at standard pricing and calibrations services are also always free. Those are some big savings!

Some other ignition interlock device companies charge things differently. While they still have a monthly amount, they have additional charges per month. They may charge change-out or calibration fees that a service shop bills out. Those are charged because the company that’s actually working on your device is a separate party to the device manufacturer. In that instance, you’re dealing with two different companies.

Both companies need to get paid, and you then get change out fees or reconnect fees because of that. Oftentimes the change-out or calibration fees go to the shop you’re visiting for device service, and you then have a rental or monthly amount that goes to the device’s manufacturer.

At Integrity Interlock LLC, we deal directly with all of our clients. You only ever have to pay us and no other company. This allows us to ensure you will get charged the same rate at all of our locations and keep our charges minimal. Also, no hidden fees that fluctuate based on what location you visit. With us, you’re dealing with the same company that booked your appointment.

Please contact us with any questions regarding our pricing and what you should expect to pay at each visit.
