How does the ignition interlock device work?
Ignition interlock devices, or IIDs, are vehicle breathalyzers that require a breath test to start the vehicle and periodic tests while using it. Wisconsin also requires a camera, GPS, and real-time reporting modules on all devices. Most use cases are from court mandates, but volunteer clients can also be served.
How does our IID work?
Our IID, the LCI-777, uses straight blow technology, making it simple to provide a breath sample. Turn on the handset by holding down the left and right buttons, wait for it to warm up, then exhale into the mouthpiece with a steady breath until you hear a tone signaling you're done. The handset can also be disconnected and brought inside, which can greatly help warm-up times. It is one of the most modern devices in the industry with one of the easiest breath sample techniques.

Removals are made free when you keep the device for 1 year or more on our Preferred Plan.
